Anthar Kharana is the founder of Tambora Foundation for Children, together with his wife they work woldwide to help  preserving ancestral arts & wisdom for the Indigenous & native children in Colombia and also doing cultural exchange with children in the UK.

"HANDS 4 LIFE" Project

Tambora's Hands 4 Life Project, is connecting lands with different spoken language but one that is universal; ART!
Hand for Life is an opportunity to create a bridge to connect children from 2 different countries with different language and socio-cultural issues. This all happens by supporting their inner expression through Art. Art is a very well known tool that helps us all to re-connect with our vision of the world we live in, and all around us, Internally and externally. When we have in two separate spots 2 groups of children who want to know each other but their language does not allow them to do so, they might not by able to talk with words but they can express by painting the stories of their life. What does my city look like? how do I picture my family? do I have a pet? How do I picture Nature?
